Title: Error indicator to automatically generate dynamic compact parametric thermal models

Abstract: During recent years, several groups have shown thatparametric model reduction is possible in general. Inparticular, it has been shown that it allows us to generatecompact thermal models while preserving filmcoefficients as parameters. Unfortunately, in order to runalgorithms, a user should specify how many momentsand what type to generate in advance and there were noformal rules to this end but a "trial and error" approach.We present an approach based on a local error in thetransfer function and show that it can automate theprocess to build a dynamic compact parametric thermalmodel in much greater extent. We demonstrate that ouralgorithm can preserve three film coefficients for the firstthermal model and material properties such as heatconductivity and heat capacity for the second model.
