dc.description.abstract CDC25A phosphatase is essential for cell cycle progression by activating the cyclin-associated kinases CDK4/6, CDK2 and CDK1. Its invalidation in mice is embryonic lethal. Its expression is tigthtly regulated at many levels and its overexpression is observed in various cancers, often associated with high grade tumors and poor prognosis. en
