Title: The phenomenological model of self-swimming Microorganisms. Analogy with Liquid Crystal Theory
Author: ZHUKOV , Michael
Abstract: The general phenomenological model describing a liquid containing self-swimming microorganisms with the displaced center of gravity is presented. The model has been built upon a surprising analogy with the theory of lyotropic liquid crystals. Using this analogy, we predict theoretically new general features of the microorganism behaviour in the fluid.
