Abstract:
|
The general phenomenological model describing a liquid containing self-swimming microorganisms with the displaced center of gravity is presented. The model has been built upon a surprising analogy with the theory of lyotropic liquid crystals. Using this analogy, we predict theoretically new general features of the microorganism behaviour in the fluid. |
