Abstract	L'auteur analyse le statut de la notion de « connaissance tacite » en sciences cognitives, en particulier dans le contexte du problème de la compétence des locuteurs d'un langage. Les notions de connaissance tacite et d'états « subdoxastiques » ont, selon lui, leur essence réelle dans la notion fodorienne de modularité. Elles ne peuvent donc avoir les contenus conceptuels des croyances et connaissances ordinaires.
Description	The author analyses the status of the notion of "tacit knowledge" in cognitive science, in particular within the context of the linguistic competence of speakers of a language. The real essence of the notions of tacit knowledge and of "subdoxastic" states lie in the fodorian notion of modularity. Therefore these states cannot have the conceptual contents of ordinary beliefs and knowledge.
